Wildfire Management Technologies

CICE has invested $3.5 million in six companies developing wildfire solutions like AI risk prediction, drone swarms, and robotics. These innovations aim to reduce fire risks, protect communities, and lower emissions. “This funding supports critical technologies to address one of the most urgent climate challenges,” said Sarah Goodman, President and CEO of CICE.

Clean Energy Innovations

CICE allocated $4.2 million to seven companies advancing hydrogen, energy storage, and low-carbon fuels. Projects include EV snowplows and sustainable biofuels, supporting the transition to a low-carbon economy. Goodman emphasized the importance of backing innovators to deliver impactful solutions globally.

Expanding Climate Impact

With $39 million invested in 59 projects to date, CICE recently launched a $3 million Energy Storage Call and a Women in Climate Tech initiative, reinforcing its mission to accelerate decarbonization and innovation in clean energy. Read More
