Foresight Canada has launched Earth Tech: Adapt, a nine-month accelerator program designed to fast-track climate adaptation technologies across critical sectors, including agriculture, forestry, infrastructure, energy, and water management.
As climate risks intensify, industries and municipalities must adopt proactive strategies to enhance resilience. According to the Federation of Canadian Municipalities and the Insurance Bureau of Canada, mitigating the worst climate impacts will require $5.3B annually—but every $1 invested today can save $6 in future losses. Earth Tech: Adapt is designed to accelerate the development and deployment of these critical adaptation solutions, equipping innovators with the tools they need to build a stronger, more resilient future.
