Airtree Ventures has successfully secured 16% of its $650 million target for Fund V, with major commitments from top-tier US investors, including Adams Street Partners, Harvard Management Company, and the University of Wisconsin endowment. The fund is designed to support Australia’s burgeoning tech ecosystem, with a split focus on Seed-stage investments (Core Fund V) and scaling companies (Opportunity Fund V).

International and Local Investor Interest in ANZ Tech Ecosystem

The backing from prestigious US university endowments, along with renewed support from local Australian superannuation funds like AustralianSuper and TelstraSuper, underscores the growing global appeal of Australian and New Zealand tech startups. Airtree’s increasing international investor base reflects the rising interest in the region’s potential for tech innovation and success.

Airtree’s Strategic Focus and Future Plans
